Sorry

I tried to post yesterday on my blog and it must have gone to blog heaven. I also tried twice today and even though it said it was posted successfully, it didn't appear. One time it just posted the date, so I am doing it a third time on my word processer and then Dick will attempt to paste it and transfer it to my blog. I am just feeling a little worse each day, but my doctor doesn't want me to go off Cymbalta, so he is keeping me on 30 mg until I can tolerate it. This is why I am going to have to go on vacation from blogging for a little while. It wears me out just to type. Hope it won't be for long.

  5. This blog thing can get pretty frustrating and if you're not feeling well it's best to back off and rest. I'll say a prayer for you and hope you'll be feeling better soon. Sure wish I could give you a hug in person, but I guess a cyber hug will have to do! OOOOOOO!!!

  7. Hi. :) I came here by way of Sue's blog (I saw a comment from a very sweet mom, and had to "meet" that mom in bloggy land). Please forgive me for offering info, as you don't even know me... but I love sweet people, and can't help myself! I have to warn you that I have heard that the drug Cymbalta seems wonderful to people at first, then several months later - turns into a horrible nightmare. The side effects are horrible, and withdrawals from trying to wean off are even worse. I hope you haven't taken it long. If you think it is wonderful now, be warned... many others have thought so too, then lived to hate it, but struggled to get off it because of the withdrawals that occur, even with careful weaning. Here is a site to view various responses from those who have taken it.

I hope and pray that you will be blessed with something which will help you and cause no adverse side effects. You might want to see a Naturopath; most drugs are truly, sadly like this; they usually cause another problem - even if they MASK the symptoms of what you are taking it for. GOOD LUCK! :) In my prayers... a silent fan of Sue's :)

  8. PS My mom was recently on strong pain medications. She recently was very sick, so I went to help take care of her for three weeks. I helped her to detox with soup broth, bentonite clay, fruits and vegetables, and aloe vera juice (which also helped a lot with pain from arthritis, gout, fybromyalgia, and other acidic toxins etc - she has diabetes too)... and she is no longer addicted to the pain medications, and she is no longer in intense pain. She is so happy! I don't know if it would help you, but I thought I would let you know in case you need or want the info. If you have any questions, feel free to email me. corine.miles@gmail.com

  11. I came here via Sue's Saturday Centus. We don't know one another, but I want you to tell you that I am sending positive energy your way, and that I hope you will soon be feeling well enough to continue your blog. I took a look around, and it is wonderfully honest and heartfelt.
